The London Grand Prix
This is the amazing track proposed for a Formula One Grand Prix through the streets of LONDON.
Billionaire F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has given the idea a major boost by declaring he might cough up the estimated £35million needed to stage the event.
He said: "Maybe we would front it and put the money up.If we got the OK and everything was fine, we could do that. The idea of an F1 street-race in London is something I have had for many years. The public's appetite for a London Grand Prix is huge. It would be fantastic. Good for London, good for England — a lot better than the Olympics!"
Former British Jenson Button F1 champ said: "It would be a great track to drive on."
