Struggling Duno under IZOD INDY SERIES probation

The Indy Racing League, the sanctioning body for the IZOD IndyCar Series, has placed driver Milka Duno on probation through Dec. 31, 2010 for not consistently meeting minimal performance standards.

IZOD IndyCar Series welcomes Dallara Innovation

The seven-member ICONIC (Innovative, Competitive, Open-Wheel, New, Industry-Relevant, Cost-Effective) IZOD IndyCar Series Advisory Committee who was tasked with reviewing, researching and recommending a future IZOD IndyCar Series chassis and engine platform to the Indy Racing League has finally recommended Dallara's chassis as the backdrop for the IZOD IndyCar Series’ long-term competition objectives.

Graham Rahal joins Newman/Haas on QuickTrim sponsorship

Newman/Haas Racing (NHR) announced that Graham Rahal, will return to the team beginning with the Honda Indy Toronto IZOD IndyCar Series event, driving the No. 02 Dallara/Honda/Firestone entry for six of the remaining series races. Five of those races will see Rahal sponsored by Quick Trim®, which joined him at this year's Indianapolis 500 when he ran with his father's Rahal Letterman Racing team.

Indy Lights champ Hildebrand joins D&RR

Dreyer & Reinbold Racing announced that American driver, JR Hildebrand, will join the team in Mid-Ohio and Sonoma. Hildebrand will replace the injured Mike Conway for the two events and will drive the team’s No. 24 Roll Coater entry for Mid-Ohio event and No. 24 TranSystems entry in Infineon Speedway race.
