Kimi Raikkonen's 2010 season wasn't so successful as he was expecting to be. A mediocre rally season proved one of the reasons that his contract with WRC Citroen RedBull Junior Team wasn;t renewd and talks about a possible return to F1 with Renault broke down as well. Still with no racing seat for the 2011, the death of his father Matti two days before Christmas rose up heavy speculation that Raikkonen might eventually quit completely from racing. However, shortly before the deadline, Raikkonen lodged an entry for the season-opening Swedish rally and furthermore he is expected to compete in the majority of 2011 WRC season in a brand new Citroen DS3 WRC of his own brand new private team called ICE 1 Racing which is backed from his personal sponsors.
