One by one every "13th F1 team" bidders abandon their projects. After Nicolas Todt's ART withdrawal, Cypher Group that was backed according to rumours by Ferrari, is one more strong competitor that has dropped its bid for the 13th entry in the 2011 F1 World Championship, leaving Spanish team Epsilon Euskadi, Serbian Stefan GP and Villeneuve-Durango F1 project as the major competitors.
As a response to rumours that Fellipe Massa has been established as a No2 driver in Ferrari following Ferrari;s German Grand Prix fiasko, he Brazilian ace insisted in a press conference that he does not regard himself as the team's number two driver.
"The time I say I am number two driver, I will not race any more. For sure I have spoken to everybody inside the team. As I said I am not here really to race, I am here to win. That is really my point. As long as I am in the condition to win, we need to go to the end, to fight for the victory. I am a professional, I work for the team and everybody has to understand my point."

Taking the example of NASCAR – where some team owners get behind the wheel of their cars – Villeneuve has reportedly submitted his bid for the 13th entry in the 2011 Formula One championship as the chances of acquiring a driving seat in one of the existing F1 teams are limited.
