In a brief press release, HRT announced that the tema wont renew its partnership with Italian chassis manufacturer Dallara. Although, the two companies collaborated ahead of the team’s Formula One debut at the start of the 2010 season, but have decided to end the joint venture in an "amicable" manner.
Team boss Colin Kolles commented:
"It was clear from the outset that the contract with Dallara is completed... It ended on the date on which we ran our cars."
The official press release is provided as follows:
"The two partners experienced a challenging start to the 2010 Formula One world championship season, where everyone at Dallara Automobili S.p.A worked extremely hard in a fight against time to be ready for the season opener at Bahrain International Circuit,” explained HRT in a statement. “Their persistent and determined efforts paid off as HRT pulled up to the starting line of Bahrain Grand Prix ready to go.
Following the completion of six rounds of the 2010 world championship, HRT and Dallara Automobili S.p.A have agreed that what they have achieved in such a short period of time was more than could have been reasonably expected. The two parties wish each other the best of luck in all future endeavours."
For the next season, HRT plans to continue to develop and improve the Dallara-designed F110 chassis as part of their own development programme.
