"I’m really happy to be back with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing and to be working with (race strategist) Larry Curry again.I feel at home. We had a great Indy test at the end of last year, and I feel that the momentum that the team has built on the road/street courses with Mike (Conway) and Justin (Wilson), we can carry that on to the ovals. Also, having Justin as my teammate last year at Indy, we worked very well together. (Team owners) Dennis (Reinbold) and Robbie (Buhl) have been very supportive of getting this done and feel like we have a chance to do great things this year at the Speedway.”
Dennis Reinbold, Dreyer & Reinbold Racing co-owner quoted:
"We are excited to have Tomas join our team for the Indy 500. He did a great job for us last year, and we are extremely happy that we were able to work something out with him for this event.
The sponsor announcement for the No. 23 car will be made soon.
